To all Hall customers and users,

After much consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue our community product.

We wanted to share this news directly with you, explain our reasoning, and outline what this means for your organization going forward.

Why we’re making this change

Despite working closely with customers and seeing success with some early adopters, we’ve encountered significant fundamental challenges with our product.

Regrettably, we no longer see a feasible path for us to overcome these challenges within a reasonable timeframe.

We will take the lessons we have learned to evolve Hall in a new direction; however, this means we can no longer offer or maintain the product that we currently make available to you.

What this means for you

Here’s what you can expect over the coming months:

• Billing has ended: If you are paying for Hall, you will no longer be charged, effective immediately.
• Service continuation: The platform and your community site will remain live until 1 June 2025. After this time it will become unavailable and requests will no longer resolve.
• Updates discontinued: Development of new features and updates has stopped.
• Account management: You can continue to manage your community via the admin dashboard at dashboard.usehall.com during this time.
• Data exports: Our team is available to support you with comprehensive data exports to ensure you can transition your community content and user data.
• Support availability: We remain committed to providing responsive support during this transition period, though the support we can provide for free customers may be limited.
• Legal notice: This discontinuation is in accordance with our Customer Subscription Agreement, which permit us to modify or discontinue the service with notice.
